Post Fury dps

So this is my issue…

I feel like im fairly geared. And I also feel as if Im doing about 1k less dps than my gear lets me. Im on average 7.1 on festergut and saurfang 25 man. My rotation is the same as tankspot uses as well as the base rotation for any fury warr, ww, bt, slam proc. My hit rating is a little low but it didnt make a difference from when I was over. Its at 111. Ive been also testing with my hit rating trinket replacing greatness. I dont know what Im doing wrong or what to do better, I think im doing everything right. Im at the point where im blaming every raid boss attempt on procs.
Im soft capped armor pen with 6555 ap unbuffed

Your rating is really really low. I would have at least like 150-160 which you can easily fix with the replacement of one piece of gear.

I think your super overstocked on expertise having as much as most tanks would like ( which is way more then you need as a dps). This is largely do to the fact that both your weapons are the same so the itemization flaw can come into play right there. The Citadel Enforcer Claymore off the first boss in ICC on 10 man mode has hit and crit that could be a good option for a replacement for one of your axes. Also the Crypt Maker off 25 man Blood Princes would be a Perfect filler/replacement piece.

Landsoul’s horned Greathelm off of Blood princes also has a good bulk of hit rating.

Most warrioris that are really geared that rock low amounts of hit rating can pull it off for one reason. Armor pen stacking through the roof. If your hitting wiht a 90% or higher static armor pen rating you will have alot of rage to dump and can afford to miss more then someone who doesn’t hit half as hard. I would start strapping out all your strength gems and stacking that armor pen very heavily.

As far as your rotation goes WW-Bt slam when proc’d is graet. Generally i find myself with tons of rage all the time i like to start the fight with a rend then go into beserker stance. I bloodrage and build 60 rage then start my rotation this way for me at least has worked wonders. I open up with a ww and then i keep going. When my bloodrage is back up i pop DeathWish and a haste potion burn my rage use bloodrage to come back up and go all out. Once this wears out i make sure i have 50 rage and i continue my process. Also after about my first 2 whirlwinds i like to use recklessness early on just to help boost my intial damage because i do give myself an extra second or 2 to build my 70 rage.

If I currently switch to armor pen ill be at 75%. Hopefully will have over 60 badges this week. Do I get the belt or save for the t10 helm.
All I need to hit 90% armor pen is to replace my legs or belt with armor pen pieces, they both drop out of 10 togc/toc, and also I need to get DBW. Im trying to also go for the belt out of rotface 10 man.

I currently switched back to strength from testing out armor pen gemming. I found an average dps loss of 1k on single target fights. I was at 79.81% armor pen. I just picked up byrntroll, so the armor pen dropped to 73%. Happy I went to strength, I love seeing the huge crits. Once I get Deathbringers will ill consider switching back over to reach 100%.
